Description
The Shin Blended Whisky is produced in Niigata, a major city at the mouth of the Shinano River and one of the largest port cities in Japan. Niigata is praised for its three white treasures: Snow, Rice and Sake.
The word “Shin” means integrity, the basic creed of every samurai.
The Shin blended whisky is made from carefully selected malt and grain whiskies, which are aged in ex-bourbon as well as ex-Oloroso sherry casks.
Master Distiller, Ken Usami, blends these malt and grain whiskies in one cask, made from Japanese Mizunara oak. The bottling is done without artificial coloring.
