Single Cask Nation is a highly respected independent bottler of whisky and rum that was founded in 2011. This is a 16 year old bottling from the MacDuff Distillery in Speyside. Primary aging was done in ex-Bourbon casks and it was finished for 4 years in a 1st fill American oak Oloroso hogshead. Like all of their releases it was bottled without chill filtration or added color.
Their tasting notes are “Beguiling, Warm Cereal, Honied” and we couldn’t agree more. A rich, sweet, and moreish Speyside dram.
