Description
William Deutz and Peter Geldermann founded their own business “Deutz & Geldermann” in 1838.
In 1988, the company split up into “Champagne Deutz” and “Badische Geldermann Privat-Sektkellerei”.
When Louis Roederer took over Champagne Deutz in 1993, the phenomenal rise began.
Around 30 hectares of vineyards, of which 10 hectares are in Les Menil-sur-Oger, Pinot Noir and of course Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay are among the grape varieties of Champagne Deutz.
The Deutz Rose is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. (8% red, 92% white pressed)
This blend is perfected with the Pinot Meunier vine.
