Description
A mysterious bog on the west coast of the Isle of Arran is called “Machrie Moor”. During the Bronze Age there were many stone circles in this hilly area, one of these stone circles still bears the name “Fingal’s Cauldron Seat”. A legend says that the legendary warrior, the giant Fingal, tied his dog to this stone. Brat, the name of the dog, therefore adorns this bottle with his image.
A classic fresh Arran single malt character with a hint of peat smoke, produced at sister distillery Lochranza.
A 10-year maturation in first fill bourbon casks followed by bottling without cold filtration and without colorants with crisp peat content of 20 ppm at cask strength, guarantees the freshness of the Arran house style with hints of smoke and earthiness.
Phenolic content: 20 ppm
