Description
For more than 150 years, the independent whisky company has been synonymous with the careful selection and maturation of single malt Scotch whisky. Founded in 1868, the company is a family business that has been in the hands of the Morrison family from generation to generation – a name that is deeply intertwined with the heritage and tradition of whisky.
In Scotland’s Speyside, a place where tradition and heritage blend with modern approaches and experimentation, lies the Craigellachie distillery. This is where a single cask Scotch single malt was created, which was acquired by A.D. Rattray back in 2010. The distillate, characterized by a classic style, was given an additional aromatic complexity through the refinement in a Burgundy cask, which impressively emphasizes its depth and characteristics.
