The Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller Series No. 6 is a limited special edition from the world-renowned Tennessee Whiskey Distillery Jack Daniel’s in Lynchburg, Tennessee. This series was created as a tribute to the seven master distillers in the distillery’s history – the sixth edition honors James Howard Bedford, who served as master distiller from 1988 to 2008 and shaped the quality and flavor of Jack Daniel’s Whiskey for over two decades.
Like all whiskeys of the brand, this bottling is based on the classic Old No. 7 recipe, but is bottled at a slightly higher alcohol content of 43% ABV – which gives the whiskey a little more depth, structure, and warmth. It is made from a mash with a high corn content, undergoes the signature charcoal filtration process according to the Lincoln County Process, and matures in new, charred American white oak barrels.
This limited edition 1-liter bottle comes in an attractively designed gift box and is particularly popular with collectors and lovers of classic American whiskeys. With its authentic character and honest craftsmanship, it offers both enjoyment and a historical insight into the brand’s development.
