Amrut Distilleries Private Limited is a company of the N.R. Jagdale Group, one of the oldest industrial groups in India, also known as the Silicon Valley of India.
The group was founded in 1948 by Mr. Radhakrishna Jagdale, initially as a small liquor blending and bottling plant.
Amrut Whisky prides itself on being the first single malt whisky from India. Its name means something like “nectar of the gods/life” and reflects the exceptional quality and enjoyment of this whisky.
Amrut Raj Igala Indian Single Malt Whisky is made from select Indian barley grown at the foot of the Himalayas.
