With this exclusive bottling, the top Indian distillery Amrut Distilleries presents a true collector’s item: The Amrut Ex-Oloroso Peated Single Malt Whisky from the limited Foundations Collection is a masterfully crafted Indian single malt that impresses with both its origins and its cask selection. This edition comes from Cask #3507, a former Oloroso sherry cask, which has decisively shaped the complex character of this rarity.
The base of this whisky is peated barley malt from Scotland, which was processed in India. The whisky was distilled in August 2017 and bottled in July 2024 at cask strength with a robust 60% ABV – entirely without chill filtration or coloring. Only 462 bottles of this unique bottling exist worldwide. A real highlight for lovers of smoky, sherry cask-aged whiskies with exotic flair and collector value.
