Michel Brunier & Freres Lyon Blanche is a high-quality French absinthe blanche that is produced with great craftsmanship and deep respect for the rich history of this cult drink. Produced in Lyon, one of the historic strongholds of the French art of spirits, this bottling is a clear, unsweetened absinthe in the style of the classic “La Bleue” absinthes from the Jura and Switzerland.
This Blanche is made from the finest herbs – including wormwood (Artemisia absinthium), aniseed, fennel and other botanical ingredients – which are carefully macerated and then distilled in copper stills. Colorants are deliberately not used in this clear version. The high alcohol content of 65% vol. preserves the essential oils and gives the absinthe its typical louche reaction when diluted with water.
