Description
The Portuguese Collection of the Tomatin Distillery shows the excellent influence of the various Portuguese wine casks in the maturation of whiskeys. In total, the Portuguese Collection includes three bottlings: Madeira, Moscatel as well as Port. The Highland Whisky was distilled on September 08, 2006 and then aged for 8 years in traditional Scotch whisky oak casks. From 23.04.2015 the further maturation took place for 7 years in barrels of Tawny Port, Moscatel de Setubal as well as Madeira wines.
